Introduction

WORTH (World Organization of Renal Therapies) is a U.S. based non-profit organization whose mission it is to place high quality dialysis units in the third world where severe kidney disease is often a death sentence. It is founded on the principal that both rich and poor will stand equal in eligibility for treatment. The first unit is located in Central Hospital University of Yaounde (CHUY) in Yaounde Cameroon.
