Included are some details that may be of interest:

1.) In November of 2008 we presented a poster session at the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) annual meeting showing our urea kinetic modelling (URR) data. It showed that we have done dialysis of a quality equal to or slightly better than that proposed in the internationally recognized K-DOQI standards. Medical high technology CAN be done in the developing world.

2.) In addition we continue to pursue our investigations as to the causes of end stage renal disease in Cameroon.

3.) We have arranged for a large shipment of supplies to go to our dialysis unit in Yaounde, and we are looking into more ways to to foster the unit's self sufficiency.
