April 21-28, 2007

Well, Dr. Trebbin returned to Cameroon arriving on April 25, 2007 and leaving April 28, 2007. With him came Peter Monteleone, the first of what we hope will be many medical students traveling to Africa to work with WORTH. Peter's mission was to improve our computer capacity, and he did a great job.

Dr. Trebbin had to make a hard decision and, left no reasonable alternative he had to have a doctor asigned to the unit removed. The good news is that communications between the Cameroonian biotechnologists have improved quite a bit.

The Cameroonian government has given us (and confirmed) verbal approval to open another unit in Bamenda. In October Dr. Trebbin will return and at that time will do site visits to hospitals willing to work with us.
